1. Slide

We always want to ensure that buyers have a great experience shopping on eBay. To help make sure of it, we created a dashboard for Southeast Asian cross-border sellers to provide them with deeper visibility into their selling performance on eBay. Sellers will be able to view detailed analysis of their shipping performance, transaction defect rates and seller standards across the top eBay markets. Login with your existing eBay account to get started!

Assessment status

Here are 4 assessment statuses that you, as a seller, need to be aware of in the performance dashboard:

Compliant: All transactions have met the requirements stated in the policy. If there are no transactions that require evaluation, the dashboard will display "-".

Non-Compliant: At least one transaction does not meet the minimum requirements of the policy. Action will not be taken under these two conditions:

  1. Action is already being taken on an account for violation of another eBay policy
  2. The total number of transaction is below a certain threshold.

Warning: If your account is flagged for non-compliance a first time, and you do not fall under the two conditions the stated above.

Action Taken: Your account has been flagged for non-compliance and has crossed the Warning stage. Action is currently being taken on your account.

SEA Shipping Performance

From 1st October 2018eBay implemented the SEA Shipping Policies to ensure better shipping services from sellers located in Southeast Asia. You can now view your shipping performance on these dashboards to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements of each of the policies.

Sellers who do not comply or consistently fall short of expectations may have action taken against their account(s), such as reduction of selling limits or account restrictions.

Service metrics

Service metrics provide you with data on the percentage of your transactions that result in 'item not as described' returns and 'item not received' requests from buyers. Peer benchmarks are an indicator of how you are doing in these areas compared to other sellers who sell similar items.

How are you being evaluated?

Your rate is evaluated as 'Low'

Item not as described: You're performing better than most of your peers in making sure that buyers receive the items they ordered, and in setting and meeting their expectations for item condition, careful packaging, and ensuring orders are correct and complete before shipping.

Item not received: You're doing better than most of your peers in meeting your handling time commitments, uploading tracking, and shipping as fast or faster than described in your listings.

Your rate is evaluated as 'Average'

Item not as described: You're performing as well as your peers in ensuring that buyers receive the items they ordered, and in setting and meeting buyer expectations. You might have some returns which could have been prevented.

Item not received: You're performing as well as your peers in meeting your delivery commitments.

Your rate is evaluated as 'High' or 'Very High'

Item not as described: You're not performing as well as your peers in making sure that buyers receive the items they ordered as described in the listing, and in setting and meeting buyer expectations. If you are rated Very High in a category, but you had fewer than 10 'Item not as described' returns or your 'Item not as described' rate is under 1% in a specific category during the evaluation period, you will not be subject to consequences.

Item not received: You’re not performing as well as your peers in meeting your delivery commitments.
If you are rated Very High for a shipping category, but you had fewer than 10 'Item not received' requests, or your 'Item not received' rate is under 1% in a specific shipping category during the evaluation period, you will not be subject to consequences.
